960 At Night
Why does the station disappear at night?

Well, we don't actually disappear. Most AM radio stations are required to lower their power at sunset. When the sun goes down, the atmosphere changes and AM radio travels much farther than during the day. The handful of grandfathered AM stations who do not power down after sunset can be heard hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of miles away.

We proudly serve Cumberland County 24 hours a day, 7 days a week….and we also serve our loyal listeners online 24/7 with a live internet broadcast-if you have DSL, cable or another broadband internet connection, the link to listen is on the right
